“I like Billy, he being Silly and I like having him on stage” – Tammy, Member

IT was just five days before Christmas, and the group was gearing up for their second attempt to attend the Pantomime after a rocky first outing. Linda and Trevor were busy picking up members and their carers for the annual trip to the Corn Exchange in King’s Lynn, where they would enjoy this year’s performance of Jack and the Beanstalk. The atmosphere was lively, filled with cheers for the heroes and boos for the villains, and it was heartwarming to see everyone reveling in the experience. During the intermission, ice cream added an extra layer of joy to the day.

“I like the fairy, her singing was lovely” – Nicky, Member

Members shared their favorite moments, with Lin enjoying the humor of FleshCreep, Tammy loving the silliness of Billy, and Ian simply delighted by the cow. Damion expressed his fondness for both Billy and Dame Trot, while Emma enthusiastically declared her love for everything about the show. The captivating story, impressive lighting, and catchy songs, along with the creative portrayal of the Giant, made for an unforgettable experience. Everyone, including the volunteers, left excitedly anticipating next year’s performance of Sleeping Beauty.
